Medical Devices Design in Cardiovascular Applications (MeDDiCA)

Is an innovative, multi-disciplinary and multi-centre Marie Curie Initial Training Network (MC ITN) focused on Cardiovascular Engineering and Medical Devices.
MeDDiCA Early Stage Researchers will build a career in cardiovascular engineering founded on both “skills for life” (communication skills, research and project management, IP, patenting, entrepreneurship, etc.) and “academic and technical skills”. The ultimate aim of MeDDiCA is to form well-rounded individuals, unlocking their potential in order to give them tools to succeed in an extremely changing area.

MeDDiCA Second Training Event: Numerical Techniques

The programme of the second MeDDiCA training event, focused on numerical techniques, modelling and simulation is ready and we are truly looking forward to seeing everybody in Compiegne, France from the 30/08/2010 till the 03/09/2010.

Virtual Physiological Human NoE Study Group: Multiscale Modelling and Simulation

The Second VPH NoE study group will be held in Barcelona from the 4th - 8th of October 2010 and it will be focused on Multiscale Modelling and Simulation.

The event will count with high-caliber invited speakers, including one of our MeDDiCA partners, Dr. Alfons Hoekstra and it is expected that other MeDDiCA partners will participate!
